Frequently Asked Questions
What Kind of Vans can The Good van team build?
We can build anything if wood working is involve. From framing up showers, walls, ceilings, floors and modular cabinetries to fit your needs and space. If you can think of it, we most likely can build it. Our goal is to create a space in your van that feels the most homiest to accomadate all your travels and off-grid needs.
How long will my build take?
This will vary from build to build. Our average turn around time for a smaller 136 or 144 can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks all depending on what you are trying to fit in the van!
What van should I look into buying for my build?
Every individual differ in terms of needs and wants in a van. A traveling surfer needs essentials such as an outdoor shower, wet room for wesuits and a place to store boards. Where as a full time traveler is looking for more home centric appliances such as cook tops, sink and a comfy bed. With all this in mind, you would need to consider the size to fit all your neccessites. I believe a couple traveling in a van can get away with a van as small as a promaster 136. If needing a bit more room, you can opt for a Sprinter 144.
A family traveling would need to accomadate benches for kids and ample sleeping area. So I would say a small family can get away with a promaster 159 or (if feeling luxiourous) a Sprinter 170.
